The Eagle is a 2011 drama-war film led by Channing Tatum and Jamie Bell. The film adapted on Rosemary Sutcliff's "The Eagle of the Ninth", a historical adventure novel of 1954. The latest war drama movie is directed by Kevin Macdonald and under the distribution of Focus Features. The film is written by Jeremy Brock and slated for wide release on February 11, 2011 in selected theaters. In the said drama-action film stars also include Donald Sutherland, Mark Strong, Tahar Rahim and Walter van Dyk.
